Myth Or Fact

Most people cannot be hypnotized.
Myth: Everyone who wants to can be hypnotized. The only exceptions to this are people who are under-the-influence, asleep or psychotic.

All hypnosis is actually "self-hypnosis".
Fact: A hypnotist is only a guide and hypnosis is only a tool that you choose to use to relax.

A hypnotist can make you do things.
Myth: Even under hypnosis you won't do anything against your own morals or beliefs.

HYPNOSIS

Traditional Use of Hypnosis

For many years, hypnosis and NLP have been very effective tools to support people’s decision to lose weight, stop smoking and overcome fears and phobias. In fact, hypnosis was established in the mid-1950’s as a field of study by the American Medical Association. The hypnosis techniques and system I use have helped over 20,000 people in our programs for more than 20 years.

Your unconscious mind controls all habits and emotional responses. Through hypnosis, you can use your imagination to make changes in unwanted habits and emotions. It’s so effective that most people find they can lose weight or stop using tobacco in an easy and relaxed way that works better than anything else they’ve tried.

Of course, there is no “average” or “typical” result for any situation because each client or consumer has different levels of need, different motivation and therefore will react differently to the experience of being hypnotized. Individual results do vary, but here are what some actual clients have said about their own personal experience losing weight and quitting smoking using hypnosis:

Hypnosis to Improve Relationships

New uses for hypnosis and NLP have become more and more popular. For example, using the hypnosis relaxation techniques to create a calm state of mind can greatly reduce anxiety problems in a very short time – even panic attacks that have been present for years can be stopped within a few sessions. For many clients who are looking for more control over their anger, or to create better focus in their busy lives, hypnosis and NLP can provide an entirely different way to approach those situations.

Finally (and happily for a lot of married folks dealing with problems they want to fix) hypnosis and NLP can even be used in a variety of ways to help couples change their perceptions and reactions to situations so that improving communication, removing resentment, and feeling more positive and connected emotionally can be achieved quite rapidly.  (As long as the client wants to make the change of course!) No one can be made to do or say something under hypnosis they would not ordinarily say or do.

Many clients have tried everything they know to fix the problems and are out of ideas. Hypnosis can offer a new way of learning what you need to know to be successful in your relationship and put the problems behind you.

Each individual experiences different results.  To determine what you personally can reasonably expect in your experience, please consult with your hypnotist. In order to determine if you can be accepted as a client into a program, and that hypnosis would be right for you, all prospective clients must attend a free 30 minute screening for that consultation.
